Interests: currently i'm an americorps VISTA in raleigh. in my spare time, when it exists, i like to read Victorian and Southern literature. i also like scrapbooking and crosstitching, despite the fact that i'm not a 40-year-old woman. i also like to write poetry, and i strive not to mention the words "soul" or "darkness," since didi, the design editor of my college lit mag, has drilled the absurdity of such words into my head.
Expertise: remembering how to multiply fractions and distinguish between long and short vowel sounds in order to help disorderly children complete their homework. oh, and cool whip. i know a lot about cool whip. and ray bradbury. and metered verse.
